All the details below will our set schedule for Magic Camp 2020. Part of the reason we have been voted #1 summer camp for over 10 years is because we pour everything we have into creating an unforgettable experience for children, and this summer will be no different, regardless of our circumstances.
Please know that your child’s safety is our #1 priority and we are planning on not only following all guidelines set forth by the state of North Carolina, but we will be implementing them in a fun way! A licensed EMT on staff, daily temperature checks, frequent sanitizing (both campers and surfaces) and greatly reducing the number of campers, are just some of the measures we will be taking.
Q: What are the camp ages?
A: Children ages 7-13 are permitted. Children are divided up into appropriate age groups periodically throughout the day depending on the activity.

Winter Park Baptist Community Center: 4700 Park Ave. Wilmington, NC 28403
(Off South college rd. Behind Denny’s close to Trader Joe’s)
Q: What are the camp hours?
Regular Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm (drop off is open 30 minutes before and after)
Extended Hour (Morning) 7:30am – 9:00am (additional $35)
Extended Hour (Afternoon) 3:30 – 5:30pm (additional $45)
Q: What are the weekly camp dates for summer 2020?
July 20th – 24th
July 27th – 31st.
Aug. 3rd – 7th
Q: What is the maximum number of campers allowed?
This summer it will be limited to ONLY 40 campers per week!Quality over quantity. We are at less than 10% capacity. Our building code is rated 700 occupancy and is a large carpeted gym. If restrictions are lifted we will assess and at max only open 20 spots more.
Q: What is the Counselor/Camper ratio?
1 counselor paired with a junior counselor for every 6-8 kids. (1:6)
Q: What is the cost per week and what does that cover?
The cost of camp covers everything they might need for all their activities, guest entertainment, t-shirt, magic tricks, prizes, pizza party on Fridays, and more for their unforgettable adventure into the world of magic. The price is $279 weekly per child. Sign up early and SAVE!
Q: Are there any DISCOUNTS available?
YES! There are discounts for signing up early. Also, if you sign up for the Magic Camp Mailing List / “like us” on facebook, you can receive e-mails and view posts that let you know about scholarship contests and give-a-ways! Sign-up by June 19th camp is only $245 (save over $30)
Q: Are the magic tricks the same every summer?
No! Each summer, the No Sleeves Magic Camp team creates and manufactures completely new magic tricks for repeat campers. In addition, every week in the summer has a completely new set of tricks! In fact, we use the internationally recognized Discover Magic Curriculum which helps build character, confidence and communication skills in children. Find out more about it at www.DiscoverMAGIC.com
Q: What are the backgrounds of the counselors?
All of our full-time staff members are screened and certified in CPR and First-Aid. In addition to our staff of counselors, we also have junior counselors who are given the opportunity to learn skills and responsibilities important in the world today.
Q: Is there a registration deadline?
No, there is no deadline. However, due to the limited amount of space, early registration is suggested.
Q: Can I switch weeks after registering?
Yes, but there is a $25 switch fee PER CHILD. We understand that emergencies and unexpected events may occur, but we implemented this in an attempt to keep our weekly rosters and materials as accurate and organized as possible, so as to serve you better!
Q: What happens if I decide to cancel?
(COVID-19 Updated) If you decide to cancel, you must do so 2 weeks prior to the first day of the week your child was registered. There will be a $50 cancellation fee PER CHILD. If two weeks notice is not given prior to cancellation, there will be no refund whatsoever. Cancellations must be received via e-mail: email@example.com.
Q: Is lunch provided for campers?
No, lunch is not provided daily, except on Fridays. Campers are expected to bring lunch Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, pizza and beverages will be provided for the Graduation Celebration. PEANUT PRODUCTS ARE NOT PERMITTED at camp due to the severe allergy that affects many children.
