No Sleeves Magic was founded by Michael Rosander, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. In 2004 his achievements at the university and in the community were recognized and the Chancellor gave Rosander the prestigious “Man of the Year” award. While attending college, his focus thesis was on developing a new art form by combining the elements of theatre, storytelling and magic. He found success when after writing his one-man show, Magic Jack and the Beanstalk; he was hired to perform for several release parties of the infamous Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince Books. No Sleeves Magic performances are definitely one of a kind and are created for the imagination of both adults and children.

SHOW SELECTIONS
PIRATES HAVE PROBLEMS :
In this particular production, two pirates confess to finding all the world’s treasures. Unfortunately, they did not use their money wisely, so they were forced to find real jobs. Captain Beard Black and Calico decide to become the worlds only Pirate/Magicians. The problem is, they aren’t really cut out for magic either, hence the title Pirates Have Problems. In addition to this swashbuckling adventure of comedy and magic, children receive their own piece of treasure!
EDUCATIONAL POINTS: Pirate History, Primary Colors and Sharing.
JESTERs JUMBLE:
The show begins with two jesters setting the stage for The Great Magician. The jesters explain to the audience how they were just hired by the magician and that this is their first time in America. Then, the worst possible thing happens…the magician doesn’t show up. After several moments of panicking and pacing, one jester convinces the other that the two of them are capable of doing the show without The Great Magician. What follows is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, quite interesting!
EDUCATIONAL POINTS: Science of the eyes, Vocabulary, and Brotherly Love!
THE FUFU EXPERIMENT:
This is the first show ever created by No Sleeves Magic and it is filled with a mixture of storytelling, theatre and of course…magic. The show is about a young magician named Rosander who is just beginning his journey into the world of magic. Unfortunately, since he is relatively new to the art form he has made some mistakes and unbeknownst to him, one them has followed him to the show. What follows Rosander to the show is his magic experiment gone wrong, Little Bunny Fufu, an over-grown gibberish speaking rabbit that cannot help but pull pranks and cause mischief and mayhem!
